Entitle
Entitle was created as part of an art exhibition focused on the theories of Marshall McLuhan. This project pushed the boundaries of interaction in the art gallery setting. This interactive project asked the audience of the exhibition, using their mobile phones, to contribute alternative titles to the artworks displayed through a mobile website. The project used participation as a means to push perception of the artwork further, offered the audience the authority to title the work, and turned the audience into information producers who could contribute their own interpretation for the objects in the exhibition. At the end of the exhibition, the artists who were having their artworks re-titled were asked for their thoughts, creating a dialogue.
